About AHK-Cu
AHK-Cu complexes the tripeptide Ala-His-Lys with a copper(II) ion. Like its better-known relative GHK-Cu, it belongs to the family of copper-binding peptides studied for roles in tissue remodeling, with AHK-Cu drawing particular research attention in dermal papilla cell and hair-follicle models.
In vitro work has examined its influence on dermal papilla cell proliferation and VEGF expression. Supplied as a lyophilized copper-peptide complex with lot analysis available.
