About NAD+
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is the principal electron carrier of cellular metabolism, cycling between oxidized (NAD+) and reduced (NADH) states in hundreds of enzymatic reactions. Cellular NAD+ levels decline with age, a finding that anchors much of modern longevity research.
